For just $1.50 a day, you could buy the next meal, the next pair of shoes, the next Bible, or the next bottle of water that opens a door for a conversation that frees a man or woman from the cycle of homelessness and poverty in the United States or frees a family from Slavery in Pakistan for the crime of simply being a Christian on the wrong day of the week in the wrong neighborhood in Faisalabad. Homeless

Homeless isn't about Home. It isn't about housing, clothing, or food, although these are essential. Homeless is about that overwhelming sense of LESS! LESS than they want to be. LESS than their families want them to be. LESS than society thinks they should be. LESS is embarrassing, LESS is lonely, LESS is debilitating. LESS doesn't have to be permanent.

At Runner's Refuge Ministries we believe the real solution to homelessness is not found in housing first models and we don't believe government vouchers are the way out. We believe the real solution is found in Relationship. That is why we bring the Church to them. A person truly doesn't become homeless until they run out of relationships. The one true relationship is found in the friend who sticks closer than a brother; Jesus Christ. At Runner's Refuge, we build relationships with our outdoor friends in hopes to point them to our one true friend, Jesus. It is through His love and our relationships we are reclaiming broken lives and restoring these men and women to their rightful place as son's and daughters of the Most High King!

Love God

At Runners Refuge Church, Everything we do is done to the Glory of God and for His purposes. Every word that is spoken, every meal that is served, every piece of clothing that is distributed, and every hug that is given is served as to the King of Glory. That's what makes our church great. Yeah we're different, Yeah we don't have walls, or a roof. But we have a deep love for God and His people. Even the one's the world looks sideways at!

Love People

There are No Disposable People. Many times in our world the homeless are looked at as disposable. We see that every time the Department of Homeless Solutions comes with their bucket trucks and disposes of their tents and all of their belongings and they are forced to start again. We believe there is a better way. We love them right where they are and show them the love of Christ, Helping them to find a better life.

Do Stuff

"Dear friends, do you think you’ll get anywhere in this if you learn all the right words but never do anything? Does merely talking about faith indicate that a person really has it? For instance, you come upon an old friend dressed in rags and half-starved and say, “Good morning, friend! Be clothed in Christ!
